April fool's day is coming..By Kim & Thomas

Any ideas on how to fool the kids??

We have painted their faces during the night, we put stuffed animals in their backpacks, to jump out at them in school in front of their friends, we taped the water sprayer on the kitchen sink, pointing directly at them, and a couple of other silly things.

BUT, we need new, original material!!!

Thanks in advance:)

I once taped my cat to the wall. Some really good duct tape, or maybe some gaffers tape if you can find it, should hold them. I love that you are evil parents! I aspire to your level of practical jokiness.

I wish I had some ideas for you, but if I did this sort of thing (which I find very funny) he would burst into tears.

He such a sensitive kid .........

My grandma gave us club soda instead of cream soda. We thought this was hilarious. My son has a birthday party to go to on April 1. I want to put the real present in a bag of rice or something as a joke, unless YOU, master of pranks have a better idea. I know http://familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts/season/minisite/april-fools-pranks-main-ms/ has some good ideas.

moe, you could do the old wrapping the present in a big giant box with weights in it. My father once gave me a teeny tiny bracelet, in a a box the size of a television!

I love the idea of the rice though, you should go with that!

And thanks for the website, I should have known that would be a good resource!! everyone should look at that one!!!!!!!!!!

Well on April fools day......
I think we will be painting the boys toe nails during the night, a nice shade of hot pink will do..

Give them some nice groucho marx eyebrows and a little mustache, maybe some glasses....

String their cheerios on string, so when they open the cereal box and pour it out, one giant long string with cheerios on it will come out....

I won't be replacing the grape nuts with cat litter though, I have to draw the line at some point!

Maybe we will saran wrap the toilet bowl, although that will be a mess for me....naaah

But I will make sure that I turn the shower head and kitchen sprayer pointing to them and rubber banded on...

MUAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA....

oh and of course we will tape fish to their backs before school, not sure if any american kids will get it, but the kids will for sure:)

Have you tried chopped beef in the toothpaste? Gross I know! Not my idea though, I saw it on "Viva la Bam"!

my roomate when I was 20 put vasoline on my door handle so when I went into my room, I should have gotten it all over my hands. It's funny and doesn't do much harm. Do it to a door you know they will touch!

If they eat cereal in the morning, put something funny in it. OR make the milk food colored?

That's what I came up with my fingers doing the typing... :)

Do they eat bananas? Whether for breakfast or in their lunch boxes (assuming kids still use lunch boxes)? Here's what you do.

Take a banana, still in its peel. Take a sewing needle. Stick the needle into the banana and swing it right to left. Do the same thing every half-inch up the banana.

When they peel the banana, it will fall apart into slices.

Beyond that, I like Expat Traveller's idea. Place a rubber lizard or snake or frog at the bottom of their cereal bowl.

Oh we will certainly do the vaseline trick, i forgot about that one!! And the banana one will be great too....hahahah...I can't wait, T & I are already planning our attacks, it will be like christmas morning, where we won't be able to sleep a wink all night waiting for them to wake up and prank them.

Hmmmm, I know, someday we will be paying big time for this, when they get older and start to do it to us!!
hehehe
