The long walk (that pooped the dog out)..By Kim

Here are just a few photos of my area.

We took a long walk, almost killing the dog, his little legs walked so far! It was about a total of 6 miles, there and back! The weather was exceptional!!

We stopped at the local bookstore to pick up some of pickles books, and 2 cookies to bring for our walk, we found a park bench at the nature trail and the boys started reading. It was such a beautiful part of the walk, right by the water fall, just a few steps away from the graffiti filled brick wall. I had a picture that I had taken of them, exactly one year ago at the same place, I'll have to post that too, they've changed so much already!

We continued our walk back, walked through the cemetery, and up to the bigger park. The kids and their beloved frog, (who is really a kid disguised as an adult), visited their fort they built, it's really cool, they built it all out of sticks, and some duck tape. Other kids visit it, since it's a local park and the kids hear people talk about this cool fort they have seen. We have even heard urban legends, that "old man butter" lives there, (we thought about leaving butter containers all over it, just to freak out kids, hhehehe) they say he is a butter loving old man who is scaring kids.

When we got home, the poor dog, he was so tired, he drank and drank, walked over to his spot near the couch and plopped! Never moving for the rest of the night!

We all slept like babies last night!!

It was the last night with my frog, somehow we slept all night hugging eachother, and I would wake up for a moment and he would kiss my cheek. I've never been so close with someone and slept so well with them, we just fit so well.

Today he went back to Montreal, we are all missing him terribly, but we will see him on Friday, for 5 days:) Hooray! Spring break!

I love those walks when the dog comes home and drinks til she's full and then plops down into a dreamless sleep....
I know exactly how it feels to be living apart from your hubby for a long period of time-- it's hard but we get through it somehow.

I did a Yahoo! search for "Montréal dog poop" and ended up here. Great blog I tell you. Un gros merci pour tous les histoires.

Traveller one, how long were you two apart, any tips, it's been relatively easy so far, we have a good strong foundation:)

Egan, you are so silly, you're always thinking about # 2, huh?

Well I'm happy you guys get to see each other a lot lately. And luckily it's only 5 hrs or less that you are apart.

Lots of phone calls really. Hope and enjoying the time together is only what I can recommend...
