Kids say the darndest things...by kim

We are getting ready for the big 7!!

Cheese is turning 7 and we are doing a soccer party! We all felt too guilty excluding kids in his class, only inviting a few, so we are going for the gold and inviting the whole class!! (It's already been established, we are crazy!)

Tonight we went to get some stuff for the favors. I had this great idea, to make candy gummy shishkabobs. We picked up the skewers, chose all he gummies. Oh that was fun, we went to the bulk section and were able to pick out octopuses, tarantulas, cherries, strawberries, alligators, all kinds of fish, raspberries, blue hoops, peach slices, watermelon slices, coca cola bottles and oh so many more! (not sure who was having more fun, me or them!)

After all our chores and homework duties, we set everything out on the table and started assembling the kabobs of sugar! I will take pictures for sure, as they are super duper adorable!! This process was so fun, stabbing the gummies and can you believe it, we didn't eat one single gummy! (want to know my stategy for that?? I made them brush their teeth before! Come on, I had to do that, once you eat one, you cannot stop!)

During the last couple of kebobs, Cheese leans over to Pickles and says "When we have kids someday, lets do this with them, it's so fun!"

It just makes my heart swell!

By the way, did I mention, we invited 19 kids?? The frog will be very busy:)
